New Jersey announced that the 2024 open enrollment will begin on 10/15/2023

Existing consumers who update their applications by April 30th will be able to see the new financial help as early as May 1st.  Get Covered New Jersey is planning to automatically update financial help for as many existing consumers as possible this summer to reduce premiums for those who have not yet taken action.

New consumers who are uninsured or enrolled in individual coverage outside of the health insurance marketplace should be encouraged to look at the new financial help available. Even if individuals were not eligible for financial help before based on income, they may qualify now. New consumers should enroll by April 30th for coverage to start May 1st.​

Any existing and new consumers who have received unemployment compensation in 2021 are eligible for nearly free coverage this year if they otherwise qualify. Consumers will need to answer a new application question, attesting to receiving unemployment compensation in 2021, to receive this benefit.

The recently passed American Rescue Plan includes updates that result in significant additional savings for Pennsylvanians shopping for coverage and those already enrolled through Pennie.
